"I would heartily recommend that any cancer patient (especially a stage 4 cancer patient) contact Humanizing Medicine and set up a consultation with Dr. Mark Hancock. Dr. Hancock is a very caring physician who has a tremendous heart to help his patients. He and his staff are very kind and have a loving attitude toward their clientele.

Dr. Hancock is a doctor who does a lot of research and he is not afraid to think outside the box. He prescribes repurposed prescription medications, supplements, mistletoe and IV vitamin C, and diet among other things that have been shown to be effective in fighting various cancers. Dr. Petra Ketterl is an integrative oncologist who works with Dr. Hancock and likewise she thinks outside the box of conventional medicine, advocating the best of conventional medicine while incorporating alternative therapies. Sam Shelby is a pleasure to work with as well.

When I was taking IV mistletoe at this clinic I enjoyed sitting in the infusion room and speaking with the other cancer patients who were taking their treatments. There is a sense of community and comraderie here between the patients that you will not experience at other medical facilities.

While I believe that God is the ultimate healer, He uses means and I feel that Dr. Hancock and his associates have been one of the means of improving my health. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in late 2017 at the age of 56 with a PSA of 33.7. After a very unpleasant experience with a urologist I decided to treat my cancer on my own naturally (I wish I had known then what I know now). After some Initial success, I took a turn for the worse as my PSA rose to 102 with a Gleason score of 8 and I was forced to wear a catheter for two months and began hormone therapy with another urologist and was diagnosed at stage 4A. I was referred to Dr. Hancock in late 2018 and began mistletoe infusions and repurposed prescription meds in December 2018. My PSA dropped way down by this time but continued to drop to an undetectable level (below 0.014) by the summer of 2019. In the spring of 2019 Dr. Hancock agreed to teach my son (a qualified medical professional) how to administer IV vitamin C to me at home three times per week. This saved me thousands of miles of travel (I live in Tennessee), many days off from work and thousands of dollars! My PA Oncologist at CTCA remarked recently that I am doing better than 99% of her patients who are on hormone therapy. At this time I am off of the hormone treatment completely and feel better physically than I have in many years. All of this without surgery, radiation or conventional chemotherapy. I do not believe that this would be possible without Dr. Hancock’s methods of treatment.

I am not saying that Dr. Hancock has “healed” me (is anyone ever really healed from cancer?), nor am I saying that my cancer is in remission (although it might be), but praise the Lord for the help that Humanizing Medicine has given me."

"In May 2018 I reached out to Dr. Mark after a reoccurrence of breast cancer (TNBC). I had a very large tumor in my left breast and my objective was to shrink it and then have a lumpectomy. In doing my research I read that it was possible to shrink a tumor using direct mistletoe injections. I was excited when I found Dr. Mark because he was the only mistletoe doctor in the country willing to do direct injections. I began high dose mistletoe IV, subcutaneous shots and direct tumor injections in June 2018. I would have my IV and shots on Monday mornings drive home to Greenville and get into bed to nurture the fever. My immune system responded well giving me fevers each week with the highest fever being 104.4 in the 2nd week. My breast was inflamed and swollen, but didn’t hurt. Recovery from the fever on Monday required me to sleep in on Tuesday, but by Wednesday I was back to my normal routine. My last treatment was in mid-August 2018. By then I had scheduled surgery with a laser breast surgeon in NY for September 17, 2018. The breast surgeon wanted me to stop the mistletoe 5 weeks before surgery to let the swelling subside. At its largest my tumor measured 11cm x 9cm with a tape measure in the doctor’s office. So not an exact measurement. After two weeks post mistletoe shots my breast swelling had decreased considerably and my tumor now measured 6cm x 6cm using the previous tape measure. The lumpectomy happened as planned on Sept 17, 2018 and the pathology report came back NO EVIDENCE OF MALIGNANCY.

The non-technical explanation for what happened in my situation is that the mistletoe shots directly into my tumor aggravated my breast and tumor causing an infection which allowed my immune system to recognize the infection and as a result sent my dendritic and natural killer cells to the site and together, they killed my tumor. I call it a miracle. My objective was to shrink it, so I was ecstatic to hear my immune system killed it too.

Dr. Mark is a blessing. He’s not what you expect in a doctor. He’s super smart, innovative, kind, thoughtful, listens well, and really cares about his patients. He clearly respects his patients and what they want to do with their life and bodies. He’s an exceptional advocate to have in your corner when facing such a challenge as cancer. His entire staff, including his wife Enid and their children are all lovely and create such a warm, loving and healing environment. The world is a better place because of Dr. Mark."

"When diagnosed with cancer, one of the first thoughts is who do I trust and most trust their oncologist. You are also told do not go on the internet. But the internet will provide you with many choices. Most oncologists I have experienced do cut, chemo and radiation and the treatments are not always effective or individualized. I initially had 3C Ovarian cancer, went through the typical treatment and it came back and was treated again and then was fortunate enough through my internet research to find Dr. Mark. He uses an individualized approach to treat your cancer that has been proven to be successful in Europe. My numbers continue to improve as well as my overall health and labs. He treats the whole body and it is very comforting to see other patients walk in and tell their success story. Dr Mark is a very calm spirit who does not get into your head with negative thoughts. The mind is powerful and he is compassionate, individualized and I have had no side effects from the treatment. The costs are very reasonable due to his desire to treat instead of greed. I just wish I had found him earlier but am thankful I found him now. Patients should have a choice and I choose Dr. Mark."
